About
The Gaza Tribunal
In September, we held the Gaza Tribunal to examine Britain's role in war crimes perpetrated in Gaza. Hearing from experts and witnesses, the tribunal sought to establish the full scale of our government's complicity in the genocide against the Palestinian people.

I welcome this Tribunal as a crucial step in vital pursuit for justice
Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories

Watch The Gaza Tribunal
Starting at 10am | Thursday 4 September
Tribunal Format
Across two days we explored Britain's complicity in Gaza. The tribunal was divided into four sections: what has happened in Gaza; what Britain's legal responsibilities are; what has Britain's role been; and has Britain lived up to to its legal obligations.

The Bill
On 4 June, Jeremy Corbyn MP introduced a bill into the UK House of Commons calling on the government to establish an independent inquiry into UK involvement in Israeli military operations in Gaza, including the supply of weapons, surveillance aircraft and use of Royal Air Force bases.
At the second reading on 4 July, the government rejected this bill and refused to establish such an inquiry. The public deserves to know the full scale of their government’s complicity in genocide. That is why we held the The Gaza Tribunal.
